Potenza (N-Tip, CP-Tip Pumping Tip)
Learn about Potenza, a versatile RF microneedling device. Discover the benefits of non-invasive and invasive tips, including N-tips and CP-tips for pores, lifting, and skin booster delivery.

What is POTENZA?

Potenza is such a versatile device that it has earned the nickname of a ‘jack-of-all-trades.’
The device itself is highly sophisticated, allowing for precise control over:
Monopolar / Bipolar modes
Penetration depth
Energy intensity
Shot modes
Because all of these can be finely adjusted,
👉 its biggest advantage is that it enables customized treatments tailored to each patient’s individual skin condition.
Core Benefits of Potenza
Reduction in sebum secretion
→ Improves acne and pores
Induction of collagen production
→ Improves elasticity, reduces wrinkles, and treats scars
Reduction in inflammation levels
→ Improves redness and assists in treating melasma and pigmentation
Looking at this list,
👉 there is practically no treatment it cannot handle,
making it one of the most highly utilized devices in dermatology clinics.
Potenza Handpiece Configuration (Non-invasive / Invasive)

Left Handpiece
👉 Non-invasive treatment performed without needles
Right Handpiece
👉 Invasive treatment equipped with needles
→ Can also be used as an alternative to Agnes in some cases
🔹 Non-invasive Tips (Lifting with zero downtime)

Non-invasive tips are
✔️ virtually painless,
✔️ have a short treatment time, and
✔️ are ideal for those who want lifting effects without any downtime.
The gold-colored DIAMOND tip
👉 features a structure where monopolar and bipolar RF are emitted alternately,
DIAMOND alone
DIAMOND + DDR
DIAMOND + DDR + SFA
combinations are possible.
✨ Standard Treatment Sequence
1️⃣ DDR: Pre-heating (raises skin temperature)
2️⃣ DIAMOND: Induces collagen denaturation
3️⃣ SFA: Finishing tightening
This sequence is widely used as the most efficient combination.
✔️ If elasticity has significantly decreased → Density is recommended first
✔️ If sagging is not yet severe,
but you want a cost-effective effect similar to Density,
👉 we recommend the non-invasive Potenza tips.
🔹 Invasive Tips (Pores, Skin Texture, Skin Boosters)

There are various types of Potenza invasive tips,
but our clinic primarily uses two specific tips.
① N-25 Tip (Pore Tip)
Specialized for pore improvement
Commonly referred to as the ‘peeled egg treatment’
Performed as a standalone treatment without skin boosters
Performed without a grounding pad → Simple procedure
② CP-25 Tip (Pumping Tip)
Dedicated tip for drug penetration
When injecting skin boosters,
👉 rather than using a standard injector,
👉 it is injected alongside RF energy, making the effects far superior
📌 Efficacy Comparison
Pumping Tip + Skin Booster ≫ Drug injection alone, Drug + Injector
Uses Monopolar RF → Requires a grounding pad attached to the back
Depending on skin condition 👉 Choose from Exosome, Juvelook, Skin Botox, etc.
Changes Before & Immediately After Potenza Treatment
Immediately after a Potenza treatment,
due to needle stimulation + RF heat emitted from the needle tips,
👉 you may experience this level of redness.

It naturally subsides within 3–5 hours for most people.
Wearing a mask traps the heat inside, so
👉 we recommend bringing a hat instead.

On the night of the treatment:
✔️ Gentle cleansing
✔️ Apply only regenerative cream + moisturizing cream
→ You will feel your skin texture become smoother and more refined.
Potenza + Skin Booster Combination
Potenza
👉 pairs exceptionally well with Exosome and Juvelook,
minimizing pain and downtime
while effectively delivering skin boosters.

These days,
Many patients visit specifically requesting, ‘Please inject the skin booster using the pumping tip.’
📌 Post-Treatment Precautions for Potenza Invasive Tips
1️⃣ Heat Sensation
Usually resolves within half a day.
Saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise
👉 should be avoided for at least 1 week.
2️⃣ Daily Activities
Virtually no needle marks or bleeding.
Avoid makeup on the day of the procedure.
Evening: Gentle cleansing + regenerative/moisturizing cream.
Makeup is allowed from the next day (apply lightly).
3️⃣ Possibility of Clogged Pores (Approx. 10%)
Temporary swelling may occur due to needle + heat stimulation.
Antibiotics are prescribed preventatively.
If breakouts occur, take the prescribed medication consistently.
4️⃣ Treatment Interval
Avoid overly frequent treatments ❌
Every 2–3 months
It is important to allow enough time for collagen and elastin production.
